Truck Driver

SYSTEM FREIGHT is actively recruiting Commercial Driver License Class A professionals for full-time local and regional driving positions based in Rheems, Lancaster County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a driver-focused transportation company operating throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.

About the Role

You'll operate modern, well-maintained trucks hauling freight for established customer accounts across the region. This position emphasizes reliability, safety, and on-time performance. Most drivers based at our Rheems location enjoy returning home daily or multiple times per week, creating stability and predictability in your schedule.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate late-model commercial vehicles on regional routes serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic transportation network
• Execute time-sensitive freight pickups and deliveries for dedicated customer accounts
• Maintain vehicle condition through regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize route efficiency
• Build strong professional relationships with shippers and receivers

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL-A) with clean driving record
• Experience driving commercial trucks in regional or local operations
• Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
• Professional communication and reliability
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery windows consistently
