Lucid Staffing Solutions is hiring a full-time Travel PCU Registered Nurse earning $2,094 per week for a 13-week assignment in Franklin, North Carolina.

About This Position

This is a direct-hire travel nursing opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. You'll join a dynamic healthcare team on a structured assignment with predictable scheduling: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for 13 consecutive weeks. This role is ideal for experienced RNs seeking temporary placement in North Carolina with straightforward terms and competitive compensation. As a travel RN, you'll bring continuity and expertise to patient care while gaining valuable cross-facility experience in an intermediate care environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to PCU/intermediate care/stepdown unit patients, maintaining safe patient-to-nurse ratios
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments during night shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Document patient progress and communicate handoff information to day-shift nursing staff
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate clinical concerns to the charge nurse
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license accepted)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PCU, IMC, stepdown, or similar acute-care environments
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently during night-shift hours and communicate effectively with team members
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare setting
