As a Travel Nurse RN in the MICU, you will deliver advanced care to critically ill adult patients while collaborating closely with the unit's clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status, responding quickly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, manage life-sustaining equipment, and carry out physician orders accurately.
- Work 12-hour night shifts as part of the MICU care team throughout the 13-week contract.
- Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow nurses to support positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) licensure valid for practice in Ohio.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a MICU or comparable critical care setting.
