Join a healthcare team where your RN expertise directly shapes the birthing experience for families in Kern County. As a travel nurse in our LDRP department, you'll engage in meaningful clinical work across every phase of labor and delivery, from admission through postpartum recovery.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout the birthing process
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and pediatric nursing teams
• Support patients and families during active labor and delivery
• Deliver evidence-based postpartum and immediate neonatal nursing interventions
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records
• Provide flexible staffing by floating to partner facilities in the Bakersfield area when needed

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in California
• Clinical experience in labor and delivery or LDRP nursing
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• Comfort with physical demands and fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Strong clinical judgment and communication abilities
• Willingness to relocate for the duration of the assignment
