LanceSoft is hiring a Travel Nurse RN – CVOR to support a busy cardiovascular operating room in Saint Francis, Wisconsin, Wisconsin. If you bring strong CVOR skills and a passion for travel nursing, this assignment is a chance to make an immediate impact at the surgical bedside.
About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site travel nursing position in the CVOR specialty. As a registered nurse on assignment, you will work alongside the surgical team during cardiovascular and open-heart procedures, delivering safe, attentive patient care throughout the perioperative process. The contract runs for 26 weeks at 40 hours per week, scheduled as four 10-hour day shifts with a set day off. The anticipated start date is July 12, 2026, and call requirements are based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care during cardiovascular operating room procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists throughout each case.
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold established operating room safety protocols.
- Document patient care accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Wisconsin.
- A minimum of two years of CVOR nursing experience.
- Hands-on familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
- Prior travel nursing experience is required for this role.
- Availability to commit to a 26-week, 4x10 day-shift schedule with a set day off and call as needed.
