About the Role
This is a full-time travel nursing position with ND Global Consulting Services, supporting a cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) in the Westover and Johnson City area of New York. The assignment runs for 13 weeks beginning July 20, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week. Nurses work 12-hour night shifts and are expected to cover every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, compassionate care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond promptly to changes during 12-hour night shifts.
- Administer treatments and medications in line with established intensive care protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the wider critical care team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in New York.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Hands-on experience working in an intensive care environment.
- Availability for night shifts and weekend rotation as scheduled.
