Trustaff Allied is recruiting a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our clinical team in New Bern, North Carolina, North Carolina. This full-time, 13-week assignment begins July 27, 2026, and offers day shift hours (40 hours per week) in an in-person setting.

Role Overview

Your role as an Interventional Radiology Technologist will support physicians in the IR department, assisting with diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive interventional procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced healthcare environment where technical expertise, precision, and patient care are essential. This travel position allows you to gain diverse clinical experience while delivering high-quality imaging support.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures with clarity and compassion
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and departmental protocols
  • Assist radiologists and interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and comfort during procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and sanitation guidelines
  • Manage imaging data, maintain accurate patient records, and support quality assurance processes

Who We're Looking For

  • Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
  • Active Interventional Radiology (IR) certification or willingness to pursue certification quickly
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in interventional radiology or related imaging specialty
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection, safety protocols, and medical imaging principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Valid state radiologic technologist license for North Carolina
