Position Summary

In this full-time role based in Greater Boston, you'll combine your safety knowledge with our local, attentive service model to deliver value that reduces claims, prevents incidents, and protects our clients' bottom line. You'll work with diverse transportation portfolios, advising clients on best practices, risk management, and regulatory requirements that matter in today's competitive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate transportation assets and operations to identify safety gaps and compliance risks
  • Develop and recommend tailored safety protocols and improvement strategies for commercial clients
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and assessments across fleet operations and transportation programs
  • Provide guidance on industry regulations, DOT requirements, and safety standards relevant to clients' specific operations
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters and brokers to align safety recommendations with coverage and claims experience
  • Support client education through training recommendations and safety documentation
  • Document findings and maintain detailed records to support underwriting and risk management decisions

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in transportation safety, fleet management, DOT compliance, or related insurance risk assessment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Strong communication and client-facing abilities; ability to translate safety concepts for diverse audiences
  • Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments and audits
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities
  • Professional certifications or credentials in transportation safety are a plus
