About the Role
Penguin Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established, award-winning planning-led practice with the appointment of a Town Planner. The practice brings together town planners, architects, designers, and landscape architects, providing an integrated approach to development from concept through to completion.
Core Duties
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of strategic planning policies and frameworks
- Assist in the evaluation of planning applications and provide professional advice on planning matters
- Participate in the development of detailed plans, proposals, and reports for various projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
- Stay updated with local and national planning regulations and policies
Requirements
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field
- Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent
- Proven experience in town planning, preferably within an integrated practice setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work in a collaborative environment
