What This Role Involves
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts across all product lines. This role involves analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales performance to ensure inventory levels are optimized for both customer satisfaction and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to drive strategic decisions that support Blueland's growth objectives.
Core Duties
- Analyze market trends and historical sales data to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory levels and supply chain strategies.
- Develop and maintain detailed demand plans using advanced forecasting tools and techniques.
- Monitor actual vs. forecasted performance, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective actions as needed.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings effectively.
- Familiarity with forecasting tools such as SAP, Tableau, or similar software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
