About the Role

As a SWAT Product Flow Specialist at Best Buy Indianapolis, you serve as the store's frontline authority on inventory health. You'll use data collection systems and adjustment workflows to keep stock counts accurate, surface shrink risks before they compound, and dig into the root causes behind replenishment gaps — then communicate your findings clearly to store leadership so corrective action happens fast.

What You'll Do

• Conduct consistent, precise stock counts and relay results to the appropriate leaders in a timely manner
• Execute inventory adjustments using in-store tools to maintain accurate on-hand records
• Pinpoint product categories with elevated shrink exposure and escalate findings with supporting data
• Trace the root causes of replenishment failures and work with leadership on sustainable fixes
• Partner cross-functionally with receiving, sales floor, and loss prevention teams to keep product flowing correctly from backroom to shelf
• Document inventory discrepancies and track resolution outcomes to identify recurring patterns
• Support store-wide initiatives focused on operational accuracy and product availability

What We're Looking For

• Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to counting, recording, and reconciling inventory data
• Clear written and verbal communication skills — you'll regularly brief supervisors and department leads on your findings
• Comfort working with inventory management systems and handheld data collection devices
• A problem-solving mindset: you don't just flag issues, you help trace where and why they started
• Previous experience in retail inventory, warehouse operations, or a related field is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and navigating a fast-paced retail floor
• Reliability and consistency — accuracy in this role directly affects customer experience and store profitability
