Survey Field Technician

Wilson & Company is hiring a full-time Survey Field Technician in El Paso, El Paso County, to support our surveying teams in capturing accurate field data for projects across the region. About the Role

As a Survey Field Technician, you will work alongside the Crew Chief to gather measurements and information in the field and prepare that data for our CADD Operators. The position can be based out of either our El Paso, TX or Las Cruces, NM office, giving you the chance to contribute to a range of multi-disciplined surveying and engineering assignments. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to perform every essential duty the job requires.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Chief in collecting accurate measurements and survey information directly from job sites.
• Organize and prepare field data so it is ready for the CADD Operators to process.
• Support daily field operations, including setup, data capture, and equipment handling.
• Communicate clearly with crew members and office staff to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Carry out each essential function of the role with precision and consistency.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential duties of a Survey Field Technician in an outdoor field environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with the Crew Chief and broader project team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data collection and preparation.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site out of the El Paso, TX or Las Cruces, NM office.
