Technical Recruiter

Wilson & Company is hiring a full-time Technical Recruiter for our Albuquerque, Bernalillo County office. As a growing engineering and architecture firm, we need a driven recruiting professional to build and maintain our pipeline of specialized technical talent across multiple disciplines and project types.

About the Role

This is a hands-on recruitment position on the Talent Acquisition team where you'll own the complete sourcing and hiring lifecycle for our technical openings. You'll work directly with department leaders and project teams to understand their staffing needs, then identify, screen, and present qualified candidates who fit both the technical requirements and our firm culture.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build active candidate pipelines in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management roles
• Post positions across job boards and professional networks to attract qualified applicants in your target disciplines
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical competency and communication ability
• Coordinate interview schedules and collect structured feedback from hiring managers to accelerate decisions
• Present top candidates with detailed assessments and recommendations to hiring teams
• Partner closely with project teams and department heads to understand role requirements and client expectations
• Maintain accurate candidate records, track recruitment metrics, and report on pipeline activity
• Support offer negotiation, acceptance, and new hire onboarding coordination

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or architecture positions
• Working knowledge of engineering disciplines, design practice, or construction management fields
• Strong ability to screen for both technical skills and cultural alignment
• Excellent communication skills—comfortable on phone calls, emails, and in person
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple open positions simultaneously
• Willingness to build genuine relationships and network within the engineering and design community
• Proficiency with standard recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems
