KE Camps is hiring a Summer Day Camp Counselor - Intern in Clifton Park, New York, to join our nationally recognized team working with elementary-aged children at a traditional summer day camp program.

About This Opportunity

This is a full-time position as a Summer Day Camp Counselor - Intern at KE Camps. We are the leading provider of summer day camps for private country clubs nationwide, partnering with over 230 clubs to deliver quality camp experiences. As a counselor, you'll play a direct role in creating memorable, safe, and engaging experiences for elementary-school-age campers. Our staff members are the heart of our programs, and we provide exceptional support to help you succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide elementary-aged campers throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Lead age-appropriate games, sports, creative activities, and team-building exercises
• Create an inclusive, welcoming camp environment where all campers feel valued and confident
• Communicate with parents about camper experiences and address questions or concerns
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to maintain program quality and consistency
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and positive role-modeling at all times

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged children in a group setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to participate actively in outdoor camp activities
