About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site substitute position within school nutritional services. As a Substitute Cafeteria Worker, you'll step in to keep meal service running smoothly across the district's operations, helping ensure students are served reliably whenever regular staff are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide substitute coverage for nutrition service and cafeteria operations as needed
- Assist with the preparation and serving of student meals
- Support day-to-day cafeteria functions within Huber Heights City Schools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming food service environment
- Work cooperatively with the nutrition service team and follow district guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Satisfactory results on criminal records checks, including fingerprinting completed within the past 30 days
- Availability for full-time, on-site work (this role is not remote)
