Role Overview
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects. As a Substation Engineer 2, you will:
- Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
Responsibilities
You will support challenging assignments that include detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with a team to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. You will also:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans.
- Analyze data and provide technical support for project management activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Substation Engineer I position.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices, including high voltage substation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
