The Opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is a team of innovators and world changers, dedicated to transforming lives through education. We are seeking a student employee to join our partner organization Learn to Be as a Virtual Tutor. This position offers flexible, fully remote work in the states mentioned above, providing you with the autonomy to set your schedule, choose subjects, and select students based on your comfort and expertise.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with assigned students each week for academic support
- Create meaningful connections with students over time
- Select grade levels and subjects to tutor based on personal preference and experience
- Pick specific students you'd like to work with, fostering a personalized tutoring experience
- No prior tutoring or teaching experience required; all majors welcome
What We're Looking For
- A motivated student employee with Federal Work Study eligibility
- A commitment to building strong relationships and supporting academic growth
- The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- An interest in helping students succeed academically, regardless of the subject or grade level
