PSAB BOSS: Strength and Conditioning Specialist (Secret Clearance)

KBR is hiring a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (Secret Clearance) for a full-time position in Old Sixth Ward, Houston. You'll deliver fitness and wellness services supporting military personnel and operations at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

Position Summary

As a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with KBR's PSAB (Prince Sultan Air Base) program, you'll lead comprehensive fitness and conditioning initiatives supporting the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing and military personnel stationed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is essential to maintaining operational readiness, personnel health, and mission effectiveness across base operations. You'll design, implement, and oversee evidence-based conditioning programs that meet military fitness standards while promoting injury prevention and long-term wellness for the personnel you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customized strength and conditioning programs aligned with military fitness requirements and individual performance needs
• Conduct fitness assessments and movement screenings to establish baseline performance metrics and identify training objectives
• Provide direct coaching and program supervision, ensuring proper exercise technique, safety, and adherence to prescribed conditioning protocols
• Monitor participant progress through objective performance data and adjust programming to optimize results and mission readiness
• Educate personnel on injury prevention, recovery strategies, nutrition fundamentals, and conditioning science principles
• Document and maintain detailed records of fitness assessments, program participation, and participant outcomes
• Coordinate with medical and support personnel to integrate fitness initiatives with broader health and operational readiness objectives

Who We're Looking For

• Current or ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (required for this position)
• Nationally recognized strength and conditioning certification such as CSCS, NASM-PES, or ACE
• Proven experience designing and implementing fitness programs in military, team-based, or high-performance environments
• In-depth knowledge of exercise science, biomechanics, periodization, and conditioning methodology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and instruct diverse populations
• Physical capability to work in high-temperature desert climate conditions
• Valid passport and willingness to work internationally in Saudi Arabia for assigned tour lengths
