About the Role

As a Strategy & Transactions Strategy Senior Consultant at Deloitte in Chicago, you will partner with clients during their most pivotal business decisions, helping them shape strategy and carry it through to execution. This full-time, on-site position places you at the heart of complex, end-to-end advisory engagements that move organizations forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide integrated strategy-through-execution advisory support across the full transaction lifecycle.
• Contribute to valuation modeling and financial analysis that inform critical client decisions.
• Support cost optimization and restructuring initiatives to strengthen client performance.
• Help guide business design, transformation, and operating-model engagements.
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including infrastructure and real estate considerations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, results-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in strategy, transactions, or corporate advisory work.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, including valuation methods.
• Familiarity with M&A, restructuring, cost optimization, and business transformation.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago.
