About the Role
This is a part-time Storeroom/Delivery position located on-site at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, 2501 Parker's Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306. You'll play a key part in receiving, storing, and distributing supplies that keep healthcare food and nutrition services fully equipped. Please note that applications are accepted online only.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify shipments against orders for accuracy and condition.
- Organize, rotate, and store inventory in the storeroom following established procedures.
- Pick, pack, and deliver supplies to the correct departments and locations within the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storeroom environment.
- Support inventory tracking and replenishment to prevent shortages.
Qualifications
- One year of prior storeroom or related receiving experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle deliveries throughout the shift.
- Dependability and flexibility to work a varied schedule, including rotating weekends.
- Availability for shifts that may fall between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with days that may vary.
