About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Store Person to join our team at Nest in Palmerston North. As a Store Person, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Core Duties

• Maintain a clean and tidy store environment by regularly restocking shelves and arranging merchandise.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in store maintenance activities such as cleaning, organizing, and inventory management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months' experience in a retail environment is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sales transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
