About the Role
As a Care Hero with Stand Out Home Care, you'll provide essential personal care and companionship in clients' homes. You'll be the trusted person families count on to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility, transferring, and positioning to prevent injury
- Provide companionship and emotional support during care
- Maintain a safe, clean living environment for clients
- Monitor client wellbeing and report changes to supervisors
- Follow care plans and respect client preferences and boundaries
- Communicate professionally with families and care coordinators
What We're Looking For
- Genuine compassion and patience with aging or vulnerable adults
- Reliability and strong attendance in a full-time role
- Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to assist with client mobility and care tasks
- Prior caregiving experience is valuable but not required—we welcome people already caring for family members
