Sr. Sales Consultant – GP PRO

Join Georgia-Pacific's GP PRO (Georgia Pacific Professional) division as a Senior Sales Consultant based in Des Moines, Iowa. In this full-time position, you'll lead revenue growth and customer relationships for a portfolio of trusted consumer brands across end-user and distributor accounts throughout the Des Moines metro region.

About the Role

As a Senior Sales Consultant at Georgia-Pacific, you'll take ownership of strategic account relationships and drive business development within your territory. This role combines consultative selling with partnership development—leveraging your expertise to help customers succeed while expanding Georgia-Pacific's market presence in Des Moines.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage a portfolio of end-user and distributor accounts, delivering strategic account planning and growth initiatives
  • Drive sales growth for Georgia-Pacific's leading brands including Dixie®, enMotion®, Compact®, and Angel Soft Ultra®
  • Identify market opportunities, unmet customer needs, and competitive threats within the Des Moines area
  • Provide consultative solutions that address customer challenges and drive adoption of Georgia-Pacific products
  • Develop and execute territory-level sales plans with measurable objectives and timelines
  • Maintain and advance customer relationships through regular engagement, product training, and business reviews
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure superior account support

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated success in consultative B2B sales, with proven ability to close complex deals and manage large accounts
  • Knowledge of consumer products, distribution channels, or retail environments
  • Strong territory and account management skills with excellent organizational ability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college education or sales certifications valued
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Des Moines region as required
