About the Role

As a Part Time Preschool Sports and Fitness Instructor with Amazing Athletes in Lakeville, Minnesota, you'll lead playful, age-appropriate sessions that build coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love of physical activity. Working with children aged 18 months to 5 years, you'll teach the foundational skills of ten different sports — basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, tennis, hockey, golf, lacrosse, baseball, and track & field — all through fun, structured games. This is a part-time position scheduled for roughly 15 to 20 hours per week, paying $24.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sports and fitness classes for toddlers and preschoolers using the Amazing Athletes curriculum.
• Introduce the basic fundamentals of 10 sports in a safe, encouraging, and developmentally suitable way.
• Keep young participants motivated, active, and smiling throughout each session.
• Travel between locations across the Lakeville and Dakota County area to lead classes (driving is required).
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment for children and parents alike.

Qualifications

• Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children aged 18 months to 5 years.
• A high-energy, patient, and dependable personality that inspires kids to participate.
• Comfort teaching and demonstrating basic skills across a variety of sports.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as the role involves driving between sites.
