Williamsburg County School District is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Kingstree, SC for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to our diverse student population across all grade levels.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Williamsburg County Schools, you'll work Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM at a rate of $45 per hour, providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students throughout our district. We are actively recruiting multiple qualified professionals to meet the growing needs of our student population.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and speech-language treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals and academic achievement
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress monitoring records in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences to ensure coordinated student support

What We're Looking For

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • State of South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse communication and swallowing needs
