What You'll Do

• Prepare and transmit invoices to insurance carriers and government payers with accuracy and timeliness
• Calculate appropriate charges based on product type, quantity, pricing structures, and contractual agreements
• Verify that delivered services and medications match billing documentation and payer requirements
• Collect and post patient and third-party payments using company systems
• Research and resolve billing errors, claim denials, and customer inquiries
• Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for audit purposes
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory compliance standards in all billing activities

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare billing certification or relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency with medical billing software, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office
• Strong ability to accurately enter data and catch discrepancies
• Knowledge of insurance terminology, claim submission processes, and payer requirements
