About the Role

As a Student Central Specialist with the Community College of Baltimore County, based in the Windsor Mill, Maryland area, you will act as the front-line, in-person contact for students. This part-time position centers on guiding learners through the everyday processes that keep their college journey moving forward, from their first inquiry to ongoing enrollment needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students in person as the primary service point for Student Central.
• Provide well-rounded support spanning admissions, financial aid, registration, and student account questions.
• Help students understand and complete essential college-related procedures with clarity and patience.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that makes each interaction smooth and stress-free.
• Create a seamless, connected experience for students moving between different campus services.

• A genuine commitment to exceptional customer service and student-centered support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for face-to-face assistance.
• Ability to navigate and explain a range of college services, including admissions, financial aid, registration, and student accounts.
