The Opportunity
Clayton Services is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Floor Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Houston. As a Shop Floor Technician, you will be responsible for supporting production operations through various tasks such as material handling, assembly support, finishing work, equipment operation, and general shop responsibilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that quality standards are met while also helping to meet production deadlines.
Your Responsibilities
- Handle materials efficiently and accurately for production processes
- Support the assembly line by performing tasks such as component placement, fastening, and other related activities
- Perform finishing work on products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Operate shop equipment safely and effectively in a manufacturing setting
- Assist with general shop responsibilities including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation
