About This Position

Canfor is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join our team in Deridder, Louisiana. As an integral part of Canfor's Divisional Management Team, the Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring timely and accurate shipment of all rail car loads. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and proven experience in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the shipment process to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
