What This Role Involves
The Service Manager will direct building maintenance operations and maintain the buildings’ mechanical systems according to CIM Group’s operating and safety standards. This role involves identifying all building equipment systems, creating a preventive maintenance program for each building, supervising turnover work, and seeking to complete as much of the unit repairs in-house as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and manage all building equipment systems
- Create and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
- Supervise turnover work and ensure timely completion
- Oversee in-house repair efforts to minimize external contractor involvement
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance operations and mechanical systems
- Aptitude for creating and executing preventive maintenance programs
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
