About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer with a frontend focus, you'll help shape the next generation of customer engagement at Cresta. You'll contribute to a cutting-edge Customer Data Platform that surfaces meaningful insights post-onboarding and orchestrates engagement across every customer touchpoint. From your first day, your work will deliver timely, actionable intelligence that fuels business growth. This is a remote position based in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and UX designers to scope and refine product requirements.
• Shape software architecture and design decisions that align with those requirements.
• Ship clean, high-quality code efficiently across the frontend, and the backend where needed.
• Apply both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns in your work.
• Scale distributed systems to meet growing demand.
• Spot and act on opportunities to boost overall engineering productivity.
• Connect your work to CI/CD pipelines, test automation, monitoring, logging, and documentation tooling.
• Build multi-tier, high-volume, user-centric applications engineered for round-the-clock reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong command of the modern frontend ecosystem, with hands-on experience applying React, Vite, and Node.js to complex production web applications.
• Confidence designing and building resilient APIs across protocols such as WebSockets, REST, and RPC frameworks.
• Practical experience with database schema design and query performance that yields fast, scalable, reactive products.
• A genuine commitment to building software with observability as a first-class concern, including familiarity with application performance monitoring.
