The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is based in West Melbourne and requires full-time commitment.

• This position will be instrumental in driving risk management and compliance strategies across the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

What You'll Do

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management frameworks to mitigate potential threats to Medibank’s operations.
• Staying abreast of regulatory changes and ensuring the organization is compliant with all relevant laws and guidelines.
• Leading compliance initiatives, including audits, reviews, and training programs for staff.

What You Bring

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in risk management and compliance within the healthcare or financial services sector.
• A strong understanding of regulatory environments and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing high-stakes projects and teams.
