About the Role
As a Senior Reactor Operator, you'll oversee critical reactor systems and daily operations, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to all nuclear regulatory standards. What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor nuclear reactor systems, instrumentation, and associated equipment
- Conduct pre-operational and post-operational equipment checks and diagnostics
- Respond to operating parameters and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Mentor and supervise junior operators and technical staff
- Coordinate maintenance activities and equipment inspections with site engineers
- Maintain comprehensive logs and operational records in compliance with NRC regulations
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and lead response protocols when required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility safety programs
What We're Looking For
- Valid NRC Senior Reactor Operator License
- Substantial hands-on experience in nuclear reactor operations
