Senior Project Manager – Oncology

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Oncology to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical research initiatives across our US operations. In this full-time role, you'll manage complex oncology study projects from concept through completion, ensuring exceptional quality and timely results for our pharmaceutical and biotech partners.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager – Oncology at Precision for Medicine, you will own the end-to-end delivery of designated clinical study projects. You'll act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external clients, managing scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards while navigating the unique demands of oncology research.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the principal point of contact for clients, managing expectations and escalations throughout the project lifecycle
• Plan and coordinate all functional services across clinical operations, regulatory affairs, data management, and quality assurance
• Direct project teams to deliver milestones on schedule and within budget
• Monitor project health against established quality, scope, cost, and timeline metrics
• Oversee study protocols, regulatory submissions, and compliance requirements specific to oncology trials
• Identify and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions as needed
• Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders at all organizational levels

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project management experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical development
• Proven expertise managing oncology studies or comparable therapeutic areas
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory pathways, and GCP/ICH guidelines
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
• Advanced communication abilities — written and verbal — for diverse audiences
• Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
