Senior Solution Engineer

TrueLayer is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to join our Integration Sales team in London, United Kingdom — a hands-on, customer-facing role at the heart of Europe's fastest-growing Pay by Bank network.

About the Role

As a Senior Solution Engineer (known internally at TrueLayer as a Senior Integration Sales Manager), you'll act as a trusted technical advisor who guides clients from first conversation through to a fully live integration. You'll map customer use cases, demonstrate how TrueLayer's payment products solve real business problems, and serve as the connective tissue between customers and our internal Product, Sales and Engineering teams. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our London office.

Key Responsibilities

• Take genuine ownership of the customers in your portfolio and their integration success.
• Translate client requirements into clear scoping documents and practical implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership on API integration best practices and support customers throughout their build.
• Raise the quality bar with a sharp eye for design and detail at every stage of the integration.
• Champion customer needs internally through insightful, quantitative feedback.
• Build trusted commercial relationships that allow you to positively influence decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales and Design to develop supporting collateral and uncover unique use cases.

Qualifications

• Background in Sales Integration, Sales Onboarding, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Technical Support, Developer Relations or a comparable field.
• Solid working knowledge of APIs and a genuine enthusiasm for complex projects.
• Confidence switching between technical and non-technical, internal and external audiences.
• Strong prioritisation skills that never come at the expense of quality, with a forward-thinking, customer-first mindset.

We'd be especially keen to hear from candidates who have worked alongside Product and Engineering teams, have experience in eCommerce or iGaming, have managed customers with $100m+ in revenue, hold a computer science or technology-focused degree, or speak multiple European languages fluently.
