Senior Human Resource Specialist

GAP Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior Human Resource Specialist to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead comprehensive human resources operations across federal policy areas including recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations.

About the Role

As a Senior Human Resource Specialist, you will leverage advanced expertise across the full spectrum of federal human resources functions. This role requires a strategic approach to workforce planning, policy development, and employee engagement, with responsibility for specialized HR programs and initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Lead recruitment, staffing, and classification initiatives aligned with federal requirements and organizational objectives
• Manage benefits administration, compensation planning, and work-life programs to support employee wellbeing and retention
• Develop and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with federal standards, regulations, and best practices
• Oversee employee and labor relations matters, including conflict resolution and compliance documentation
• Administer specialized federal human resources programs and related initiatives
• Provide strategic HR guidance and support across multiple operational functions

What We're Looking For

• Advanced knowledge of federal human resources practices, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven expertise in staffing, classification, recruitment, and compensation management
• Strong background in benefits administration and employee relations
• Experience developing and implementing federal HR policies
• Demonstrated success managing complex HR programs and initiatives
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Professional HR certification preferred
