Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify items that must be quantified and priced for each estimate

• Solicit and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing, then incorporate validated numbers into complete bid packages
• Prepare clear estimate summaries and support bid submissions so decision-makers can evaluate risk, coverage, and competitiveness

• Collaborate with project, operations, and leadership colleagues to clarify assumptions, close scope gaps, and resolve estimate questions

What We're Looking For

• Solid background as an Estimator or Senior Estimator with hands-on experience producing complete cost estimates from drawings and specs
• Proficiency with quantity takeoffs, cost buildup, and bid preparation for multi-trade or multi-phase work
• Comfort evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotes and documenting estimate assumptions clearly
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate estimate logic to non-estimating teammates
• Familiarity with common estimating tools and spreadsheets used to organize takeoffs, unit costs, and summaries
• Self-direction for senior estimator workstreams, including prioritizing deadlines and elevating risks early
• Willingness to work on site with the Orlando, FL based team in a full-time capacity
