About This Position
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Environmental Professional to join our growing Perth based Environmental Planning and Approvals Team. Working within a highly regarded team of environmental specialists, you will play a leading role in the delivery of environmental impact assessment and approvals projects across a strong and diverse pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of environmental management plans for major infrastructure projects.
- Conduct detailed environmental assessments to identify potential impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and consultants, to ensure project goals are met.
- Provide expert advice on environmental legislation and regulations to clients and internal teams.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Scientist with extensive experience in the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals. Key requirements include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in an environmental consultancy role, preferably within the transport sector.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical information to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
