About This Position

This role is for a Senior Communication Adviser in a part-time capacity within the Head Office of Defence Housing Australia (DHA) located in Barton, South Canberra. The position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to DHA's mission and vision through strategic communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with DHA’s objectives and values.
• Manage internal and external communications effectively, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all channels.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for enhancing communication efforts.
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials, press releases, and other promotional content.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Communications or a related field. Additionally, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in communication roles within a similar environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
