About the Role

As a caregiver you will provide compassionate, one‑on‑one assistance to older adults in their own homes, helping them maintain dignity and quality of life while supporting families who trust Home Instead with their loved ones’ care.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders and monitor overall well‑being
• Engage in companionship activities, conversation, and recreational pursuits
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to keep the living environment safe and tidy
• Communicate observations and any changes in condition to supervisory staff and family members
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to company policies and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar supportive role
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (if required for client visits)
• Successful completion of a background check and any required health screenings
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not mandatory
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
