Position Summary

J.B. Hunt Transport is seeking dedicated semi-local CDL-A drivers for a full-time position in Nuevo, California. As a Dedicated Contract Services® driver, you will enjoy consistent freight and deliveries for a single customer. This role offers an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive semi-trucks within a specific geographic area to deliver goods on time
• Ensure the safety of your load and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch for any issues or updates
• Earn an hourly rate plus activity-based bonuses based on eligible pay activities

Qualifications

• Held a valid Class A CDL license
• Prior experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required
• A clean driving record and no major traffic violations in the past 5 years
• Ability to work full-time, with potential for overtime hours
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
