What You'll Do

  • Deliver brand-aligned guest interactions that build loyalty and make each visit educational and enjoyable
  • Stay sharp on product details by completing training and seeking extra resources independently
  • Champion a guest-first approach in both the kitchen and retail areas
  • Partner with chefs during classes to produce positive feedback and encourage future attendance
  • Support class revenue targets through strong enrollment outcomes, reviews, and return rates
  • Contribute to monthly sales performance using metrics such as personal volume, average ticket, and conversion
  • Prepare class spaces by arranging ingredients and supplies, then break them down cleanly afterward
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment promptly so the kitchen stays efficient
  • Restock and organize tools and consumables to keep the area ready for every session
  • Follow all food-safety rules, local health codes, and sanitation requirements without exception
  • Handle equipment, ingredients, and utensils carefully to protect people and property
  • Track inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and manage culinary supply costs
  • Serve alcohol only when required, always checking ages and obeying regulations and policies
  • Maintain a safe, clean store and escalate any maintenance needs right away
  • Record work hours correctly and obey wage-and-hour rules
  • Model every company policy and standard operating procedure

Who We're Looking For

  • At least 16 years old when employment begins
  • One year of retail sales experience preferred
  • One year of food-prep or kitchen-operations experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Genuine drive to connect with the community and create outstanding guest moments
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and retail systems preferred
  • Verbal communication and cooperative teamwork with associates and customers
  • Ability to stand for up to four continuous hours
  • Mobility to move through the store guiding class participants, assisting sales, and retrieving stock
  • Ability to distinguish flavor and odor qualities or intensities
  • Capacity to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch when handling merchandise or tools
  • Hand coordination for chopping, whisking, slicing, stirring, juicing, and similar techniques
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders to access merchandise
  • Skill with computers, POS terminals, scanners, keyboards, and a mouse
  • Availability for 12–16 hours weekly on a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays; actual hours vary with business needs
  • Reliable attendance and readiness to adjust class assignments as demand shifts
  • Comfort working around open flames, hot surfaces, temperature changes, and food allergens present by contact or in the air
