Telecaller – Bengali (D)

Lokal is hiring a Telecaller – Bengali (D) to grow the host community on Dostt, our fast-rising social platform. This is a work-from-home contract role open to fluent Bengali speakers based in India.

About the Role

As a Bengali-speaking Telecaller on the Dostt team, you will own the journey of bringing new hosts onto the platform — from the first phone call to a fully activated, engaged creator. You will spend your day connecting with people over the phone, explaining what Dostt offers, and guiding promising hosts through onboarding. Success in this position comes from genuine relationship-building, persuasive conversation, and a steady focus on hitting clear targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to prospective and current hosts to present Dostt and the opportunities it offers.
• Spot, engage, and onboard quality hosts who fit the platform's community guidelines.
• Work leads sourced from campaigns, referrals, internal databases, and other channels.
• Nurture lasting relationships with hosts at every stage of their time on Dostt.
• Walk hosts through platform features, policies, earning opportunities, and best practices.
• Coach newly joined hosts so they activate quickly and stay engaged.
• Answer host questions promptly and resolve issues for a smooth experience.
• Log host interactions, onboarding progress, and daily activity accurately in internal tools.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding, activation, and engagement goals.
• Partner with internal teams on host retention and community growth, and share host feedback that improves the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Hands-on experience in telecalling, telesales, customer support, business development, or onboarding.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both Bengali and English.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, plus comfort handling objections and follow-ups.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and general computer use.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven setting.
• Prior exposure to sales, lead generation, creator onboarding, or service-partner acquisition is a plus.
