SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer

KATBOTZ is hiring a contract SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer to help drive SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation and application modernization for organizations across the United States. About the Role

As a SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer at KATBOTZ, you will partner with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to design, build, and maintain responsive SAP applications. Your work will deliver seamless experiences across desktop and mobile, with a strong emphasis on clean-core extension strategies and modern UX.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance SAP Fiori applications with SAPUI5, including custom extensions for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Create reusable UI components and responsive, mobile-ready interfaces aligned to SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Develop and consume OData services, REST APIs, CDS Views, and SAP Gateway services.
• Extend standard Fiori apps using SAP-recommended methods and support clean-core approaches on SAP BTP.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems while improving usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Run unit testing and QA, support integration testing and UAT, and assist with deployment and release activities.
• Provide production support, resolve issues, maintain documentation, and assess SAP quarterly cloud releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years building SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions.
• Strong command of SAPUI5, SAP Fiori applications, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML Views, and OData services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Gateway, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid grasp of SAP Fiori design principles and responsive web development, with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Preferred: SAP Fiori Developer Certification, plus exposure to SAP BTP, CAP, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Work Zone, CDS Views, RAP, SAP Launchpad Service, SAP Mobile Services, S/4HANA Public Cloud, Agile, and DevOps.
