About the Role
As an Auto Bodily Injury Claims Examiner based in San Antonio, you'll take ownership of automobile claims involving bodily injury from first notice through resolution. This is a full-time, in-office position with Sedgwick, a global leader in claims management trusted to support people facing unexpected events every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto claims that include bodily injury components.
- Review coverage, determine liability, and assess the value of injury-related damages.
- Negotiate fair settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
- Document claim activity accurately and keep all stakeholders informed throughout the process.
- Ensure each claim is handled in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience handling auto or bodily injury claims is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of liability evaluation, coverage analysis, and injury claim resolution.
- Confident negotiation, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing an active caseload.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site in San Antonio, Bexar County (this role is not remote).
