About the Role
As a Sales Representative in our Ohio territory, you'll be the primary point of contact for a diverse customer base that includes restaurants, hospitality establishments, educational institutions, and other foodservice businesses. This role balances inside relationship management with in-field territory development, requiring up to 25% travel throughout your assigned area.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and secure new customers within Columbus, Circleville, Chillicothe, and surrounding communities
- Maintain and grow existing account relationships through regular contact and proactive service
- Present Sysco products and solutions that address customer needs and operational challenges
- Manage territory performance, account activity, and sales pipeline using company systems
- Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay current on product offerings, competitive positioning, and market conditions in your region
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience, preferably in food service, distribution, or B2B environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a commitment to achieving sales targets
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel across your territory
- Ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple accounts, and work independently
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $42,900 to $71,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Sysco team members receive benefits and growth opportunities within a stable, industry-leading company.
