About the Role
As a Sales and Service Rep, you'll manage an assigned customer route in the Roanoke area, delivering on-site maintenance and waste management services. You'll operate a Class B box truck, service parts washer machines at commercial locations, collect and transport containerized hazardous waste, and identify opportunities to grow customer accounts. This role blends technical service work with customer-facing sales responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class B commercial vehicle to service your assigned customer territory
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on parts washing equipment at client locations
- Safely collect, handle, and transport containerized hazardous waste from business sites
- Build lasting customer relationships and recommend complementary products and services
- Maintain accurate service logs, delivery records, and customer documentation
- Ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations and company protocols on every visit
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license if not already held
- Physical capability to regularly lift, carry, and move heavy containers safely
- Strong customer service skills with a sales mindset
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
