About the Role
As the Safety Coordinator for High Voltage Power Delivery at ROI Agency, you will champion a proactive safety culture across active project sites in San Jose. Working primarily in the field, you'll provide hands-on safety leadership while keeping operations aligned with government regulations, client expectations, and internal standards. Your mission is to prevent injuries, accidents, and property damage before they ever happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day safety leadership at high voltage power delivery work sites.
- Build and reinforce a culture where every team member prioritizes safe practices.
- Confirm ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Uphold client requirements alongside company policies and operating procedures.
- Carry out site reviews, inspections, and safety assessments to surface hazards early.
- Plan and lead safety training to keep crews informed and prepared.
- Take preventive action to reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and equipment or property damage.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of occupational safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with high voltage power delivery or comparable utility and construction environments.
- Strong communication skills to coach crews and conduct effective on-site training.
- Sharp observational ability to identify and resolve hazards proactively.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in San Jose, Santa Clara County.
