Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver to operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. This role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations while maintaining a high level of customer service daily. The position offers stable hours with access to some overtime and good benefits.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck (26 feet) for the collection of sharps and medical waste containers in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with healthcare facilities.
- Maintain modern and well-maintained vehicles provided by the company.
- Ensure safe handling of medical waste using provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
What We're Looking For
- A Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving or related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
