Class B Route Driver - Clean Harbors - Greer, South Carolina

About the Role

Clean Harbors is currently seeking a Class B Route Driver to join our team in Greer, SC. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for driving a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services within a defined route.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class B box truck safely and efficiently through assigned routes
• Perform maintenance checks on the vehicle before each trip to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Provide onsite service for parts washer machines, including setup and operation as needed
• Pick up containerized hazardous waste from various locations in a timely manner
• Sell products/services to customers within the defined route while maintaining excellent customer service
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times

What We're Looking For

• A valid Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Previous experience as a Route Driver or similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with clients
• A clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings if needed
• Valid driver’s license in the state of South Carolina
